Advanced Program for Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS)

A progressive 4-week program to improve strength, stability and confidence in your hip

If you have already started working on Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS) and want to continue progressing, this program provides a more complete and progressive phase of exercise.

It is not about doing random exercises. Over the four weeks, you will progressively work on strength, mobility, stability, balance, proprioception, neuromuscular control and functional movements, while gradually increasing difficulty and load.

🎯 What will you work on?

The program is designed to progressively develop:

✅ Gluteal strength
✅ Pelvic control and hip stability
✅ Balance and proprioception
✅ Single-leg control
✅ Eccentric and isometric loading
✅ Coordination between the hip, knee, ankle and trunk
✅ Functional movements for everyday life, work and sport

The aim is not only to strengthen the hip, but also to progressively improve your ability to control movement and tolerate different types of load.

📅 How does the program work?

The program is divided into 4 progressive weeks.

Exercises are not completely replaced every week. Some remain and progress through changes in:

🔹 resistance
🔹 time under tension
🔹 stability
🔹 speed
🔹 coordination
🔹 movement complexity

This allows the hip and lower limb to gradually adapt to increasingly demanding tasks.

📘 4 weeks · 4 separate blocks

To make the program easier to follow, you will receive 4 separate blocks, one for each week.

Each week includes:

📸 Exercise photographs
🎥 Demonstration videos
📝 Clear step-by-step instructions
📈 Gradual progression of difficulty and load

This allows you to focus on one week at a time, rather than managing one very long document.

👤 Who is it for?

This program may be suitable if you have already completed an initial phase of exercises and want to continue working more comprehensively on:

strength, stability, pelvic control, balance and functional capacity of the hip.

It can also represent the next step after completing the free PhysioCareHub protocol.
