Low back pain and muscular tension in the lower back are very common problems and can affect people of all ages.
Many people spend long hours sitting at a computer, driving or using electronic devices. Others spend much of the day standing, performing repetitive physical tasks or regularly handling loads.
Common symptoms include:
πΉ tension in the lower back
πΉ stiffness in the lower back
πΉ discomfort at the end of the day
πΉ a feeling of lumbar overload
πΉ discomfort when remaining in the same position for long periods
However, not all lower back problems have the same origin.
Some people develop symptoms after spending many hours sitting or driving. Others may experience discomfort related to prolonged standing, repetitive physical effort or activities that increase the load on the lower back.
π€ WHY DON’T RANDOM EXERCISES ALWAYS WORK?
When lower back pain or tension appears, it is normal to search for exercises online and try them independently.
The problem is that people with similar symptoms may require completely different approaches.
For this reason, before starting any exercise programme, it is important to understand which factors may be contributing to your symptoms.

π If you identify with most of these situations, you may present a pattern compatible with possible lumbar straightening.
Lumbar straightening refers to a reduction in the natural curve of the lower back and is commonly observed in people who spend many hours sitting or exposed to prolonged flexed positions.
π LONG HOURS STANDING OR PHYSICAL EFFORT
β You work many hours standing
β You frequently perform physical tasks
β You regularly handle loads or heavy objects
β Your work or activities require repeated use of the lower back
β You experience a feeling of overload or compression in the lower back
π If you identify with most of these situations, you may present a pattern compatible with possible lumbar hyperlordosis.
Lumbar hyperlordosis refers to an increased natural curve of the lower back and may be associated with certain prolonged postures or repetitive physical demands.
